The organization saw the need for promotion of sports, most especially football in the community and talents discovery. Since football has become a world class sport and means of economic survival both for individuals and the clubs/country, with the discovery in the recent times that there are very skillful footballers in the community who do not have any platform to display their skills/talents where they could be discovered by local and foreign football scouts, just as Obafemi Martins was discovered from Orile Igamnu. Hence OIPA now has an Academy to address these dreams and aspirations of Orile talented footballers.
